Son ouvrage, très documenté, est le produit d'un va-et-vient constant entre études de cas, pédagogie et biologie.
Il nous démontre, preuves à l'appui, les dangers des méthodes illusionnistes progressivement mises en place depuis deux générations. Nos cerveaux d'Occidentaux sont amputés par la nouvelle lecture globale ou semi-globale, qui est maintenant de surcroît silencieuse et rapide dès le cours préparatoire. Or, la pédagogie visuelle dont ces méthodes de lecture relèvent, a investi peu à peu la plupart des bastions de notre enseignement.
Boudant les fonctions du cerveau gauche (analyse, temps, logique verbale), elle privilégie désormais la forme, l'analogie, et l'intuition. Par de savants tours de passe-passe, tous les apprentissages fondamentaux, lecture, expression écrite, grammaire, raisonnement, ont été remaniés : la forme a détrôné le fond, les repères temporels et personnels ont disparu. Dyslexie, dysorthographie, dyscalculie, mal-être, mauvaise perception de soi et des autres, absence de repères, violence, sont les conséquences de cet enseignement.
L'homme nouveau ainsi créé de toutes pièces est dangereusement dépendant. Heureusement, de même que, en biologie, la lésion d'un organe en éclaire les fonctions, de même ici, les multiples carences que la pédagogie du cerveau droit a induites, nous ont permis de comprendre le cheminement qu'il aurait fallu suivre. Ce livre n'est donc pas qu'un cri d'alarme : il nous prouve, en grande partie déjà, que le développement psycho-cognitif de l'immense majorité de nos enfants est à notre portée, à condition que, tournant le dos aux théories irréalistes, nous reprenions le chemin du bon sens.

Volumen 1 de la 24ª ed. de Sobotta, Atlas de Anatomía en el que se aborda de forma pormenorizada la anatomía general y el aparato locomotor. Cuenta con un total de 575 ilustraciones (de las cuales 72 son nuevas), entre las que se encuentran ilustraciones estilo Sobotta, dibujos esquemáticos a todo color e imágenes de radiodiagnóstico. La página introductoria de cada sección se ha modificado respecto a la edición anterior, ya que inlcuye una visión general, un cuadro con bullet points con objetivos de aprendizaje y un extenso cuadro de correlación clínica. Esta edición reponde a una nueva filosogía de aprendizaje en la que se combina una visión general del contenido, con el énfasis en los conceptos esenciales, la relación entre las estructuras anatómicas, y la autoevaluación al final de cada una de las secciones. Cuenta con un total de 575 ilustraciones ( de las cuales 72 son totalmente nuevas), entre las que se encuentran ilustraciones estilo Sobotta,dibujos esquemáticos a todo color e imágenes de radiodiagnóstico. Se organiza en 4 grandes secciones: - Anatomía general, Tronco, Miembro superior y Miembro inferior. En esta edición, Sobotta se presenta como una completa herramienta de aprendizaje que facilitará al estudiante la adquisición de los conocimientos anatómicos fundamentales, el reconocimiento e identificación de los detalles en la sala de disección y la perfecta comprensión de las relaciones anatómicas. Cada una de las secciones se inicia con una doble página en la que se ofrece un pequeño resumen, un listado de los objetivos de aprendizaje y un caso clínico totalmente desarrollado desde la anamnesis hasta el tratamiento y que suele contener algún tipo de iconografía. Cada sección se cierra con un conjunto de preguntas de autoevaluación para que el estudiante pueda comprobar su nivel de aprendizaje a la vez que se muestra un ejemplo de las preguntas que pueden aparecer en el examen. A lo largo de todo el volumen se refuerza la correlación clínica con la inclusión de pequeños cuadros y su magnífica iconografía centrada en lo esencial, pero con un grado máximo de detalle cuando así se requiere hacen de la obra un referente en el estudio de la anatomía humana.
